Director of Clinical Operations, Site Training and Auditing

Diane Rabideau has over eight years of experience in clinical research, starting as a Clinical Research Coordinator and taking on the Director of Clinical Operations position in 2006.  Currently, she oversees two Clinical Research Coordinators, a Documentation Specialist and support staff at the Waterbury location.   In addition, she takes an active Clinical Research Coordinator role on many of the trials.  She is key to ensuring the training of coordinators as well as the quality and effectiveness of the operations.  She has been involved in over 170 clinical trials and has been recognized by sponsors for her high quality results and attention to detail in the execution of the clinical trials.  Diane has been instrumental in establishing long term relationships with Sponsors and CRO’s which has allowed our site to grow dramatically over the years in the volume of trials performed and the growing number of therapeutic areas for which we perform clinical trials.

Prior to her research career, she worked as a Registered Nurse and team leader at a large internal medicine practice from 1993 to 2003.  While in this position she was repeatedly recognized for her compassionate care giving to the patients and their families.   She has an associate of science degree in nursing and is Intravenous Therapy Certified.  Diane has maintained her Registered Nurse licensure with the State of Connecticut and in addition holds certifications for IATA/HAZMAT, CPR and AED.  She has completed the CITI Training (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative) and is certified in the conduct of clinical investigations and the protection of human subjects.
